Henry David Thoreau achieved clarity by taking daily walks through the forest and being present in nature -- what we now call meditation. Being in a meditative state allows the brain to be creative without inhibition.
This image was taken on a similar walk in West Los Angeles. Citrus season has come, the weather is warm and the bursting orange sings its siren song.
